HOW LONG BEFORE I WILL RECEIVE MY SHOES?
Wait times constantly vary based on the number of orders ahead of you. As of now Shme has an 3 MONTH wait. Shme does this on top of a full time job and is only one person so your patience is greatly appreciated! Your place in line is reserved once your payment has been made in full.
PRICING
HOW DO YOU DETERMINE A PRICE?
There are a number of factors that go into determining the final price of your customs. What type of shoe and the cost of that shoe, shipping prices and the intricacy of your design. The more complicated the design, the more time it will take, resulting in a higher price.
CAN I PAY HALF NOW AND HALF LATER?
Shme Customs requires that you make your payment in full at the time your order is officially placed.
WHY HAVEN'T YOU ANSWERED MY EMAIL?
Please understand that Shme gets flooded with emails daily. She may not answer right away, but she does her best to answer when she can. The more emails she is answering, the less she is painting, so please read these questions and view the pricing page before sending Shme a silly email.
CAN YOU HAVE MY SHOES DONE BY A SPECIFIC DATE?
Due to wait times, Shme asks that you plan ahead when placing an order that needs to be completed by a specific day i.e. birthdays, weddings, graduation, holidays. However, understanding that this can't always be the case, your order can be rushed, but there will be an extra $50 fee added to your total.
DESIGN REQUESTS
I SAW THIS DESIGN ON YOUR PAGE, WILL YOU MAKE ME THE SAME PAIR?
All designs that Shme creates are 'one-of-a-kind', meaning they are not going to be recreated unless otherwise stated. This is not to say the same theme can't be used, but we will have to find a different way of making it work. As an artist it is no fun to paint the same design over and over. Shme strives to be as creative as possible, while at the same time giving customers an awesome design that no one else will have!
HOW DO I PAY?
All payments are made using either PayPal or Venmo.
WILL YOU DRAW MY DESIGN UP FIRST?
At this time Shme does not draw up designs. We will discuss colors and imagery and Shme will describe specifics of the design as best she can, but due to order volume she does not have time to draw up each request.
